What it is: Sudden unintended acceleration, or SUA, refers to incidents when a vehicle quickly and unexpectedly takes off or speeds up for no apparent reason. The U.S. Department of Agriculture today released the names of the retailers that sold ready-to-eat meats that were part of the 1.24 million pounds of sausage products recalled by Daniele International over the weekend because the meat may be contaminated with salmonella.

It's a wonder Tinkerbell could fly, carrying all that heavy metal. Turns out she can't. Yesterday, Playmates Toys, of Costa Mesa, CA, recalled 252,000 Disney-branded Tinkerbell charms for lead content that exceeds federal limits.

After five children lost their fingertips when they were caught in a stroller hinge, Graco has recalled 1.5 million strollers. The company has also received reports of at least two lacerations.
