The company has dropped the Rabbit name and updated the car, but the Golf remains a front-wheel drive hatchback at the premium end of the economy car spectrum. Dimensions of the latest Golf are largely the same as the old, but the Wolfsburg folks have smoothed out the exterior in a way that renders the new 2010 Golf instantly recognizable and pleasingly new at the same time. Read more 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4 GL Road Test Review The Hyundai Santa Fe is so good it'll surprise you. Then again, this can be said about many of Hyundai's new designs. It's just that the Santa Fe isn't new. In fact, it's one of the oldest models in the Korean's brand's lineup. The Santa Fe started life in 2000 as a compact crossover and then Hyundai introduced its entry-level Tucson in 2004, opening the door for a larger Santa Fe the following year. While larger, the new Santa Fe continued on as a very affordable alternative to Japanese compacts although with better than average interior fit and finish and the option of a totally usable third-row seat.
