Dario Franchitti won his second Indianapolis 500 on Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Dan Wheldon took second place for the second straight year at the 94th running of the iconic race. A last-lap crash involving Mike Conway separated the field, allowing Franchitti to coast to the victory. Alex Lloyd completed the podium in third.

“Up until 10 laps to go it was pretty relaxed, then all hell broke loose,” Franchitti told ABC television.

Chip Ganassi became the first owner to win the Daytona 500 and Indy 500 in the same year.
