However, at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, we saw the beginnings of a what could be a much bigger Lotus. The automaker unveiled four new concepts--the Elan, Espirit, Elite, and Eterne. In addition to expanding the line with four new models, Lotus also is increasing its current stable with a more powerful, but also 400-pound heavier update to the featherweight Elise. Lotus plans to roll these five new models out over the next five years as part of its ambitious plan to compete with the larger supercar heavyweights.

Apparently, someone at Ford thought this was newsworthy, but for me, it was sort of a no-brainer: the five-door was always the better car in my eyes.
