Compared with your typical car show, where automakers display cars in factory-perfect condition, SEMA is a no-holds-barred spectacle of car modification. Whatever can be done to a car can be seen at SEMA. And this year we are seeing plenty of automaker participation, with the likes of Ford and Audi bringing their own mods to bear. But look for the real craziness from the independents, where putting Lambo doors on a Scion xB or a big blower on a Dodge Challenger is par for the course. We will be covering SEMA next week, but we found some tasty previews ahead of the big show.
