	This week in Car Tech Wayne Cunningham CNET.com Kia and Hyundai own New York show By the time the New York auto show rolls around, most automakers have already shown their hand at Los Angeles, Detroit, and Geneva shows. However, Hyundai and Kia held back, showing a poker face, taking the spotlight at the New York show with multiple unveilings. These sister brands are in the midst of a major transformation that should result in more respect and sales. Sonata and Optima both have new turbo and hybrid power trains, while Hyundai reaches for the stars with a high-end luxury vehicle.
