New 3.7-litre V6 and 5.0-litre V8 engines in the 2011 Mustang combined with new six-speed manual and automatic transmissions provide significantly more horsepower and better fuel economy, reports Senior Editor, Paul Williams. 2011 Mustangs will go on sale here in late spring. 
The Infiniti FX35 puts the "sporty" in SUV, says Assistant Editor Jil McIntosh, who reports that its handling is as close to a sports car as you'll get. Don't expect happy rear-seat passengers in those cramped quarters, though, she warns. 
The Sorento is quiet and smooth both on the highway and around town, and the V6 has power to spare in most situations, says James. Front seat comfort seems to depend on whose behind you ask, though. 
Both these Canadian-built luxury SUVs offer all-weather capability, a roomy cabin and cargo-carrying utility but one leans towards luxury and high-end interior finishings while the other stresses handling and performance. 
Having previously reviewed the 2009 Acura RDX's interior, Inside Story author Michael Clark had the opportunity to see if its weak points had been improved in the 2010 RDX. Some things have, but some things haven't, he notes. 
The M35/45 looks like one of the more predictably reliable cars in its class, even faring better than the Lexus GS in long-term reliability, says Contributing Editor, Chris Chase. "My only advice would be to avoid the trouble-prone navigation option." 
Though not quite as big or as flashy as past Vancouver auto shows, the 2010 Vancouver auto show is displaying over 400 new vehicles, from the economical new Ford Fiesta to the slightly less economical Ferrari 16M Scuderia Spider, reports Editor-in-chief, Greg Wilson. 
The Honda S2000 is truly a driver's sports car, says reviewer Jeff Burry. Its remarkable normally aspirated 2.0-litre DOHC VTEC four-cylinder engine produces a whopping 240 horsepower and has a "redline" of 9,000 screaming r.p.m.s, he says.
