| At AutoWeek, we've always tried to give you inside information to make you the most knowledgeable car guy on your block. We're thinking about giving you an inside-the-ropes chance to see racing in a completely different way than you've ever seen it -- as our race photographers see it.
We send you this note to gauge interest in a special and unique experience. Do we have your attention? | |

| | We are considering hosting a racing photography workshop at the Michigan International Speedway for the NASCAR race on August 15. Attendees would work with AW staff members, several of our professional race photographers and MIS. | |
| | We will bring some of the best racing photographers in the world to teach you advanced amateur photography and some tricks of the trade. You'd be credentialed like a pro shooter with garage and pit access, as well as shooting locations around the track. For a couple of days, you would be a pro shooter. MIS is interested in seeing what you would shoot. AutoWeek would produce an online gallery of the best shots. | |
| | Your cost is $1,250. We cover meals. You just pick up travel to the racetrack and accommodations. This is an exclusive workshop. We limit this experience to no more than 25 and will keep the student/teacher ratio to 7:1 or less. | |
| | We want this to be a terrific learning experience for those who want to see what it's like to work as a professional race photographer. We know this will not appeal to everyone, but if you are a serious amateur photographer (this is not intended for those with point-and-shoot cameras), it will be rewarding. | |
| | Let us know if you are interested, and if the response is what we think it will be, we'll contact you with further details. | |
