	This week in Car Tech Wayne Cunningham CNET.com 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show Although this year's auto show had slim pickings--indicative of the state of the industry--there were still a few stand-outs. Recognizing the need for smaller, economical vehicles, Chevy rolled out the Cruze and Ford put a whole bunch of Fiestas on the floor. Mazda even got into the act with the Mazda2, its smallest car in the lineup. VW was a little behind the curve, merely showing a concept for a small car. Honda had a concept as well, a futuristic design study that you're not going to see rolling down the street any time soon.
