--BMW showed off a smaller X6, aptly named the X4.
--Lime Rock is holding a benefit for Sandy Hook.
--And Tesla sent out some overzealous emails.
I'm Jake, it's Opening Day in Detroit, here's the news.
BMW revealed its upcoming X4 concept on Thursday; the small crossover will make its official debut later this month at the Shanghai motor show. BMW hasn't said what engine it will get, but in North America we're expecting a turbocharged four, the standard BMW I6 and possibly a diesel.
