Nelson Piquet Jr. did his best to try to get a leg up on the competition when he kicked fellow NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Brian Scott below the belt following the race at Richmond on Friday night.
Piquet, Scott and their crews got into a tussle on pit road after Piquet and Scott banged cars on the race track.
“He runs into me every week,” Scott said.
Piquet's story was different; he said he passed Scott cleanly, “but I'm not going to take any more crap from him. We both just got frustrated with each other and, you know, things happened. We both got angry.''
