Welcome to Autoweek Track Time. You've seen "Top Gear" send the Stig -- a “tame racing driver” -- around an airfield in Old Blighty. We're basically going to copy them, but our version will be different in three very important ways:
1. We're using a real racetrack; Gingerman Raceway in Southaven, Mich. Click here to check out the course.
2. We're not using a pro driver. We're using our own road test editor Jon Wong. Wong's had some training; he spends plenty of time on the track, but isn't a pro.
3. We're going to show the lap data on the screen. Think you could turn a faster lap? Think Wong screwed up? Well, now you have the data to make those judgments for yourself.
