I'm Natalie, here today with the last edition of Autoweek TV of 2012. Here's what's going on:
Nissan plans to upgrade the battery warranty on the Leaf electric car. Under the new plan, Nissan will repair or replace the car's lithium-ion battery if it loses more than 30 percent of ability to hold a charge after five years or 60,000 miles.
The upgraded warranty will cover cars already on the road and new 2013 models.
Some owners in hot-weather states such as Arizona have complained that the Leaf's battery capacity falls off within a year... |
