Autoweek's Rory Carroll has been held hostage by an uncooperative Tesla Model S sedan charger for nearly two days. A Tesla technician is on the scene, and repairs are ongoing.

It's been more than 36 hours since we've seen Rory Carroll. We think he's OK, but all we have to go on are his cryptic tweets and word that a Tesla technician flew to him under the cover of night.

Carroll has been home since Monday evening with a Tesla Model S that won't release its charger. He's tried locking and unlocking, unplugging from the wall and good ol' fashioned screaming and...
