	This week in Car Tech Wayne Cunningham CNET.com 2011 VW Jetta The Jetta has been VW's bread-and-butter car in the U.S., and the newest model is the linchpin in the company's effort to dominate the market. A new design makes it look rather homogeneous, but aggressive pricing puts the base model at only $16,000. We spent a day driving an SEL model, enjoying its manual transmission and 2.5-liter engine.
