New on CanadianDriver

First Drive: 2011 Nissan Juke by Greg Wilson
The Nissan Juke's distinctive styling is a real eye-opener, but it's the Juke's spirited performance and handling – not to mention its reasonable price – that really makes this small crossover really stand out from the crowd, says Editor Greg Wilson.
First Drive: 2011 Ford Edge by Grant Yoxon
Refreshed exterior styling, a new interior design, improved entertainment and communications technology, two new engines, and improved ride, handling and braking are the highlights of the 2011 Ford Edge, which is already on sale, reports Grant Yoxon.
Test Drive: 2011 Mazda2 GS, four-speed automatic by Paul Williams
The "nimble and versatile" Mazda2 hatchback starts at just $13,995 for the base GX trim, but after adding the cost of popular options like an automatic transmission and air conditioning, you might as well opt for the $18,195 GS, says Paul Williams.
Test Drive: 2011 Toyota Sienna LE V6 by Chris Chase
Though a new four-cylinder motor is available in the base 2011 Sienna LE minivan, Chris Chase recommends the V6 because it can handle a full load of passengers and cargo and its fuel consumption isn't much worse than the four's.
Test Drive: 2010 Subaru Impreza 2.5i sedan by Haney Louka
The base Impreza sedan appeals to a "broad spectrum of buyers... particularly those who place all-wheel drive high on their wish lists," but its "generic styling and laid-back attitude" make it less appealing "if you're looking for some excitement," says Haney Louka.
Used Vehicle Review: Audi A8, 2004–2010 by Chris Chase
Commonly reported problems with Audi's second generation flagship A8 sedan include overheating, radiator leaks, faulty air suspension, and worn suspension bushings, reports Contributing Editor, Chris Chase. Like most big German cars, it can be expensive to maintain, he says.
Feature: Great Roads of Western Canada: Highway 8 – The Nicola Highway by Russell Purcell
Connecting B.C's Highway 1 and the Coquihalla Highway (97C), Highway 8 follows the Nicola River for about 60 kilometres. "Few highways can compare when it comes to delivering an exhilarating driving experience," says Russell Purcell.
Auto Tech: Cooper winter tires by Jim Kerr
Technical Editor Jim Kerr compared the performance of Cooper's new winter tire, the Weather-Master WSC, to the popular Nokian Hakkapeliitta and "was surprised at what he found out."
Motoring Memories: Borgward Isabella, 1954-1961 by Bill Vance
The car that brought the Borgward brand to North America, the Isabella was a thoroughly modern, two-door, unit-body car with attractive lines. Production ended in 1961 when the company succumbed to financial difficulties caused by "questionable management."
Steering You Right: Zero tolerance laws for novice drivers by Jordan W. Charness
A federal law makes it illegal to drive with a blood alcohol content of more than .08, but many provinces also have laws that suspend driving privileges for novice drivers found with any alcohol at all in their bloodstream.
