To drive, or to ride? That's the dilemma Assistant Editor Jil McIntosh faced with the long-wheelbase 2011 Audi A8L: it's a great car to pilot, but it's equally nice to sit back in living-room comfort and enjoy the scenery. 
"Swoopy and elegant," the base Hyundai Sonata GL is well equipped for its MSRP of $24,249, says Paul Williams - and its standard 198-hp four-cylinder engine is "more powerful than many V6 engines only a few years ago." 
An all-new V6 engine with more power and better fuel economy highlights the 2011 Ford Mustang V6 convertible, along with other mechanical refinements, reports Editor, Greg Wilson. Lower pricing for 2011 is also good news for consumers, he notes. 
The Regal's chassis is a winner, with a ride that's taut, yet compliant. It handles well, too, responding eagerly to the tight steering. The letdown is the powertrain, says James; the 2.4-litre engine is only adequate power-wise, and there's nothing sporty about the six-speed automatic's performance.
