Images of the 2014 Cadillac CTS have leaked ahead of its New York auto show debut.

Cadillac should be overjoyed at the speculation and interest surrounding the new CTS. The new model is set to slot into the E-Class/5-series/A6 group size-wise, no longer an in-betweener designed to split the difference between entry-luxury and executive cars.
News of the upcoming car's available 420-hp twin-turbo V6 has the enthusiast set mighty curious, and the fact that it's built on the stellar bones of the ATS bodes well for handling.
The question now is style. Some spy photography hasn't exactly been promising, suggesting the design might be a mite ungainly and ill-proportioned. These leaked detail shots, which appeared on flickr, suggest little more than a more muscular, ornate ATS...which might not be a bad thing.
