The GM-designed eight-speed automatic transmission may not be ready in time for the launch of the 2014 Corvette, so the automaker may rely on a model from Japanese supplier Aisin to fill the gap.

I'm Rory, it's Wednesday, let's do the news.

Chevy's hoping to find an electric light of a spark by introducing a Spark EV in Los Angeles. Details are a little scarce at the moment, but the all-electric Spark will probably be about the size of a current Chevy Spark and have a battery of some kind....
