The 2013 Lotus Evora S offers the Intelligent Precision Shift automatic as an option. An automatic Lotus may be controversial, but that version will come with paddle shifters and a selectable sport mode.

The 2013 Lotus Evora will cost $68,285 when it hits dealerships, which according to Lotus, is right about now. The 345-hp S model is $10,000 more. For the first time, the Intelligent Precision Shift automatic will be offered on the S model. But are we really sure we want to live in world with Lotus automatics?
