Carroll Shelby may be gone, but his legacy—and car collection—lives on. One of the last cars he owned is going up for auction at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on Oct. 12 and 13.

It's a 2009 Mustang GT500KR with only 1,600 miles on the clock. The 540-hp pony car cost about $80,000 when new. We expect it ...
