	This week in Car Tech Wayne Cunningham CNET.com OnStar integrates social networks This decade saw the integration of iPods and cell phones with vehicle infotainment systems, and now OnStar is taking things a step further by bringing social networks into the car. We attended a demonstration of a new service OnStar is beta testing that reads a driver's Facebook news feed out loud. A voice recognition engine at OnStar scans the driver's news feed and translates the text to speech, making it so the driver does not have to look at a screen while listening to updates. The two latest Hot Wheels sitting on my desk are plastic, fold flat so they can fit into an iPhone-size carrying case, and require neither gravity nor muscle power to move.
