Tesla updates and IPOs

Just in time for its public sale, Tesla also releases version 2.5 of its Roadster. We got a sneak peek of the new car, and posted photos of its slightly revised body styling. More intriguing is the new navigation/stereo unit in the car, a double DIN model from Alpine that significantly improves the Tesla Roadster's cabin tech. On the business front, Tesla's public offering occurred on Tuesday, netting the company more than $220 million with its opening price of $17 per share. Interestingly, this IPO is the first for an automaker in more than 50 years, the last being Ford's 1956 public sale.

Meh...arguable whether the fascia updates are really an improvement. To me, it's become much more of generic look up front rather than a "cohesive" one.
