Consumers Union advocates for organic integrity |  | The National Organic Standards Board meeting, scheduled for October 22-24 in Louisville, Kentucky, has been canceled due to the government shutdown. Consumers Union submitted written comments, and we will continue to advocate a phase-out of antibiotics in organic apple and pear orchards, a prohibition against synthetic nutrients in organic chicken feed, and strong conflict-of-interest standards.
