Alfa Romeo and Mazda have finalized an agreement to jointly develop the next generations of their iconic roadsters. They will work together on rear-wheel underpinnings that will be used for both the Alfa Spider and Mazda MX-5 Miata. Both versions of the cars will be built in Japan, though Alfa CEO Harald Wester tells us the Spider will definitely look like an Alfa. Here's why this matters: It's good news for enthusiasts, as it ensures a new generation of two of our favorite roadsters.
