-- McLaren set the bar awfully high when they brought us the F1 in 1992. The Brits finally think they have a worthy successor in their new McLaren P1 .

--They've stopped short of saying that the P1 will follow the F1 in setting a new record for top speed, but some reports suggest the car could have 963 hp and weigh less than 2900 lbs.

-- In other supercar news, Aston Martin's DB9 will receive a power boost for 2013.

--The car's 5.9 liter V12 will now make 510 hp and 457 ft-...
