IndyCar driver Legge calls out Jay Penske

Katherine Legge was informed of her termination from Dragon Racing in January. But after receiving no answer as to why she was let go, she is considering legal action.

Dragon Racing announced Tuesday that it had signed 22-year-old Sebastian Saavedra to drive its No. 6 car.
This came as a big shock to many in the IndyCar world, but apparently, no one was more surprised than Katherine Legge, who had shared the car last season and was expecting to return this season.
“I am extremely disappointed that Dragon Racing and sponsor TrueCar have announced a replacement IndyCar driver for [the No.] 6 car,” she said in a statement. “I received a letter from Dragon Racing, terminating my services on January the 18th. My legal team had asked for details regarding the reasoning for this termination but none have been provided.”
Legge went on to say that legal action will be her next recourse.
