The microcar auction may not be RM Auctions’ largest sale, but winning microcar bids didn’t go unnoticed.

I'm Rory, it's Wednesday, let's do the news.

There was a time when microcar collectors were viewed as the eccentrics of the already super-eccentric collector-car community. Now, a lot of them look like savvy investors. RM Auctions helped The Bruce Weiner Micro Car Museum liquidate most of its collection in Georgia this weekend, and we were there to witness the microcar madness. The microcar dorks -- yes, including me -- were out in force and the bidding surpassed $9.1 million dollars.

Sure, the total for the sale is less than RM has sold single cars...
